Nathaniel Rakich '10 | President

A "Let's Go lifer," Nathaniel began working at HSA/LG at literally the first possible opportunity and kept going until well after graduation. He first served as Editor of Let's Go: Amsterdam 2008, moving on to Editorial Managing Editor for the 2009 series. For 2010, he was Managing Editor for both Let's Go: Boston and The Unofficial Guide, and he ended his tenure as Executive Editor of the 2011 series, overseeing all editorial operations. He also served two years on the HSA Board of Directors and was a founding member of HSA Alumni. Today, Nathaniel is a politics and baseball writer based in Boston.

Sara Plana '12 | Vice President

Sara Plana worked at Let's Go for the maximum four years: first as an Editor, then as Production and Design Director, then as Staff Writer Managing Editor. Her final year, she ran the company as Director of Publishing. She also sat on the HSA Board of Directors for two years and was elected to the Grad Board in 2014. After graduating from Harvard, Sara worked in international security in Washington, DC for almost three years. She is currently a PhD student in political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on the balancing act between military effectiveness and abuse of power. In her spare time, she keeps up with an unhealthy amount of television shows and gushes at every corgi sighting.

Chuck Schilke '85 | Secretary

Chuck Schilke, Secretary of the HSAA Graduate Board, serves as the Director of the Edward St. John Real Estate Program at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD, where he teaches real-estate development, real-estate law, and infrastructure finance. He has built, bought, sold, and financed all major building types-office, retail, industrial, hotel, and residential-and ventured into exotic areas like biomedical and telecommunications real estate. He currently serves on the Harvard Real Estate Academic Initiative Alumni Advisory Board, has served on the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Council, and has served as a Board Member and Vice President for Programming of the Harvard Club of Washington.

Ethan Waxman '12 | Treasurer

Ethan started at HSA as a Let's Go Researcher-Writer for Panama in 2009 and went on to become the FY2011 Cleaners Manager and FY2012 President. After graduating from Harvard, Ethan moved to New York to work in private equity at Warburg Pincus. In 2014, he moved to Hong Kong to help build Warburg's private equity group in Southeast Asia. In 2015, he joined EQT Partners, a European private equity firm, to help open the firm's New York office.

Kirk Benson '13

Kirk spent four years at HSA in various roles at Distributions, Cleaners & Dorm Essentials, and finally as President in FY2013. Outside of Burke-McCoy Hall, he studied Applied Mathematics with a focus on Economics and performed with two jazz a cappella groups, the Din & Tonics and VoxJazz. After college, Kirk joined Crestview Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, where he evaluates and manages investments across the healthcare, retail, media, and industrial sectors.

Matthew Hillery '00

Matt worked in a variety of positions at HSA. He began as a Sales Representative for Let’s Go Ad Sales, served as Manager of HSA Cleaners, worked as a fundraiser for the Capital Campaign, and later came out of retirement to be Assistant Manager for the Center for Enterprise. Matt is now an attorney in Boston and is a director in the Private Client group at Goulston & Storrs PC. Matt concentrates his practice on estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, the formation and operation of nonprofit charitable organizations, and issues relating to charitable giving.

Iya Megre '11

Iya was bitten by the Let's Go bug in her freshman year and remains infectiously involved to this day. She first served as Associate Editor for Let's Go: France 2009, then as a Managing Editor, then as Managing Editor for the new Staff Writer program, and finally as Editorial Director for the 2012 series. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Classics, Iya took a detour to Yale Law School and now practices law in New York City.

Ryley Reynolds '15

Ryley started her HSA career as Custom Orders Manager at The Harvard Shop, working her way up to Harvard Shop Managing Director and finally President in FY2015. Ryley pioneered the externships program at HSA, pairing current students with alumni for short summer apprenticeships, and is now spearheading that initiative for HSA Alumni. A native of Seattle, Washington, Ryley now lives and works in New York City.

Amit Tiwari '98

Amit is a Portfolio Manager at Harvard Management Company responsible for investments in international developed equity markets. Prior to this, Amit was with the Lakshmi Mittal Family Office for four years in London where he oversaw global equities investments. Amit formerly worked for Morgan Stanley Principal Strategies, Ziff Brothers Investments, and KKR. Amit received his MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University, where he also served as HSA President in FY1998.
